Evaro Hill Consulting, LLC is a 100% Indigenous and woman owned company certified as an Indian Preference Contractor with the Confederated Salish and Kootenai Tribes and registered as a small business with the Montana Secretary of State. It is location on the Flathead Nation. EHC provides professional and management services with a focus on health, human services and social/economic justice for Indigenous people.

Dr. Sorrell’s professional experience includes: Taught high school English and Tribal History at CSKT’s Two Eagle River School Administered CSKT’s Alcohol and Substance Abuse Program, where she developed comprehensive prevention, intervention, treatment, and ongoing care model for substance abuse, including the Blue Bay Healing Center Guided CSKT’s Public Law 93-683 Indian Self-Determination and Education Assistance Act Title V compacting efforts with the Bureau of Indian Affairs, Office of the Special Trustee, and Indian Health Service, serving a several national task forces and committees Served on Montana Governor Brian Schweitzer’s transition team and his Family and Policy Advisor where her duties included Department of Labor and Industry, Department of Corrections, Military Affairs, and Department of Public Health and Human Services Appointed and confirmed by the Montana Senate, as the Director, Department of Public Health and Humans Services overseeing over 3,000 employees across the State, with an estimated budget of two billion dollars, including programs such as Medicaid, Healthy Montana Kids (CHIP), foster care, and other programs to build on individuals and family’s interdependence and success Appointed and served as Director, Billings Area Indian Service overseeing care for 67,000 IHS recipients of healthcare Worked for CSKT Tribal Health, as an operations supervisor, when TH transitioned from the IHS electronic health record to EPIC: Community Connect Health Record
